Dear a.r.t.-ists,
Our 2nd annual benefit concert was such a huge success, I am sending a gigantic ‘thank you’ your way. At one point in the night, the line outside The Hotel Foster was 40 people deep. And the energy in the room was amazing. It was crystal clear that the each and every musician on the stage believes in the importance of arts education. We could feel the emotions during music breaks when personal messages regarding the arts were shared with the audience. Musicians, you donated your time and shared your arts advocacy with us… thank you. Speaking of donations….
Thanks to all of the a.r.t.-ists out there, we are making donations to both The Skylight, as well as AWE (Artists Working in Education). Both groups offer quality arts programming to our Milwaukee young artists.
To all of our sponsors, as well as our host, The Hotel Foster, I send a huge Italian hug your way! See you next May for the 3rd annual. Until then, please keep checking the website and facebook page for updates on future a.r.t. events, as well as to stay updated on arts advocacy at the local, state, and national levels.
